Things may feel like they are slowly going back to the “pre COVID normal” but we still have to take precautions to stay safe and healthy, and help others do the same. Here in Deschutes County, starting Friday, the 9th, we will be going back into the high risk category after briefly being in the moderate risk category. We will break down what that means for events, restaurants, and other businesses.
– For Social and at-home INDOOR gatherings, they must not exceed 6 people, and the recommended limit for households is 2.
– For Social and at-home OUTDOOR gatherings, maximum of 8 people is recommended.
– For Restaurants, even though take-out is highly recommended, indoor dining is allowed, with 25% capacity, or 50 people, whichever is smaller. Outdoor dining is allowed, with a capacity of 75 people maximum. For indoor and outdoor AND outdoor seating, 6 people per party, per table, limited to 2 households. All eating and drinking establishments have a 11:00pm closing time.
– For retail stores, including grocery stores, pharmacies, farmers markets, and convenient stores, have a 50% maximum occupancy, and curbside pickup is encouraged.
– For indoor AND outdoor shopping centers and malls, the maximum capacity is 50%, and curbside pickup is encouraged.
