Farmer’s Market season has officially begun here in Central Oregon! There’s nothing like stocking up on fresh, local goods like: fruits, veggies, meats, freshly baked breads, and of course a nice flower arrangement to look at while you’re cooking up a delicious dinner with these goods. Here is a list of farmer’s markets in the area that you can take the whole family to.


Brooks Alley- Every Wednesday from 2-6pm in the Brooks Alley in Downtown Bend, parallel to Wall Street. Rain or shine, vendors from all over Oregon will be set up with fresh produce, flower arrangements, baked goods, meats and fish, and more. This market has started and goes until mid October.

Northwest Crossing- On Saturdays, come down to Northwest Crossing for their market starting at 10am. Discover a bounty of seasonal produce, locally-raised meats, fresh eggs and cheese, handmade items, beautiful flowers, tasty morsels, and so much more!

Produce Stands- You can also grab fresh produce in Bend at Farmer browns on Knott rd, Vegetable Man produce across from Fred Meyer, Paradise Produce on Galveston, Locavore across from the North Albertsons, and the Orange Mama across from Towne Pump on 3rd street.


Sisters Farmer’s Market- On Sundays from 11am-2pm at Fir Street Park, you can come down and enjoy all of the fresh goods grown, picked, baked and created just for you! This market goes until the first Sunday in October.

Fresh Produce in Redmond-

Farm to Friends Country Markets- Farm to Friends Country Markets is a membership-based co-shop program providing free home delivery of fresh produce, healthy food and other goods.

Schoolhouse Produce- Located on Highland Avenue, and open 9am-6pm Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm Saturday, and closed Sundays. Jayne and Camie continue to stock the seasons best organic vegetables, fruit, grocery items and source their best local vendors.  The kitchen continues to expand and they are able to provide Schoolhouse made special sauces, soups and jams.  The two of them look forward to being around for a long time!  Stop by!

Jordans Fruit Stand- Open Monday- Saturdays from 10am-6pm, and located on West Antler Avenue, stop by for fresh, seasonal produce, potted herb plants, melons, and more.
