This week’s featured home, 7 Squirrel Lane, defines the classic Sunriver “feel” and is close to the hub of Sunriver – The SHARC, The Village, and The Lodge. A perfect cedar chalet — 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and is 1,841 (+/-) square feet. The kitchen with numerous cabinets, abundant counter space, and granite counter tops spills into the dining nook and into the living area. The living area has a gas fireplace to keep you warm on chilly Central Oregon evenings. The bonus areas of 7 Squirrel Lane are perfect for hosting with three additional guest rooms that are currently set up as a family room, sitting room, and sleeping room. The bonus family room has built in storage for all of your treasures. The large paver patio at the rear of the home backs up to a common area and is perfect for some BBQing and entertaining with friends, family, and guests. Welcome to your new first or second home! View this tour The Sunriver Nature Center and Observatory has always been a staple in our little town! The Nature Center’s winter hours are Wednesday through Saturday from 10am to 4pm. At the Nature Center, you can see birds of prey, take a stroll by the river to see native plants and animals, or listen to interpretative talks about native species of plants and animals. These are just some of the guided or independent activities that are offered at our Nature Center. The Nature Center is a non-profit organization that is funded by local donations and the profits from the Second Tern Thrift Store. The Second Tern is located just outside of Sunriver Proper on Spring River Road and is open Fridays and Saturdays from 10am to 3pm. Both the Sunriver Nature Center and Observatory and the Second Tern Thrift Shop are great opportunities to experience in Sunriver!
