Easter is coming up, and for many this year, it looks a little different, but that does’t mean it can’t be fun, just like every other year. Here are some fun ideas we have put together for you and the family to participate in.

Home Decor-

If you are not able to spend time with the people you normally would on this holiday, decorating the home will help you and the family get in the spirit for this spring holiday, that you all can make together. Here are some fun ideas, thanks to Good Housekeeping:

– Crinkled Leaves Wreath
– Sprinkle Easter eggs
– Egg- ceptional Wreath Centerpiece
– Bunny Box
– Polka Dot Eggs

Snacks/ Food to Make-

Make some fun snacks you don’t normally make to snack on all day. You can make extras to drop off for friends or family to enjoy as well. Click HERE to see more fun ideas and recipes, thanks to Country Living.

– Soft and Chewy M&M Cookies
– Easter Carrot Cheese Ball
– Bunny Pretzel Bites
– Peeps Fruit Kabobs
– Easter egg Pretzel Chocolate Swirl Bark

Fun Ideas/ Activities-

Spread Joy- With some of the fun snacks you make, you can create little gift bags or baskets and drop off for friends, family or neighbors.

Zoom Calls- Set up a time on Easter to call friends and family you normally would see on this holiday, that you are not able to this year. You can play virtual games, or just chat and catch up. Don’t forget to put a fun easter filter on Grandma!

Virtual Easter Egg Hunt- If your kids are not able to do an Easter egg hunt like normal, set up a virtual one with friends or family you would normally be with, and the kids can show what they got after the hunt.

Plant Flowers- It may be too early to plant in the ground outside, but you can plant some pretty flowers in pots to leave inside on a window sill until it’s warm enough to stick outside. This is a great idea for kids who have never planted flowers, as they can learn about the planting, watering and growing process of plants, and may get them more excited to help in the garden this summer.

We hope you have a great holiday, whether you are able to celebrate with loved ones near or far.

Happy Easter,
The Jones Group @ Sunriver Realty
