With Mother’s Day a little over a week away, why not step out of the box of buying mom the typical flowers and get her something truly unique. Here are some ideas of gifts that will make mom feel extra special on her day.
Gift Basket- You can put together a gift basket with all of her favorite things. Some ideas are: wine, her favorite snacks, gift cards for coffee or her favorite restaurant, cozy socks, teas and coffee, and a mug to drink out of.
Spa Day- Pay for mom to go relax with a spa day. You can find a local place that offers facials, massages, pedicures/manicures, and more. If mom is social distancing, you can either bring over the supplies for spa day at home, or send her all of the goodies she will need in the mail and she can relax at home and get that TLC.
A Fun Experience- For moms that don’t really need anything, pay for a fun experience. It can be something like: a cooking class, a pottery class, a gardening class, a guided hike or adventure, or if mom is a real thrill seeker, a bungee jumping or skydiving experience! A lot of classes are not happening in person, but are still available online.
Something Personalized- Etsy has some amazing, handmade, personalized items for mom. From jewelry to wall hangings, there is something for everyone.
Subscription Box- Now days, there’s a subscription box for practically everyone. Some fun options are: wine boxes, books, cookbooks and cooking supplies, candles, snacks, makeup and skincare, and so much more! Check out the NBC news article all about fun box ideas for mom HERE.
Plants/ Flowers- If mom is into gardening, you could pick up plants for her and offer to plant them, or get hanging basket materials and a bunch of flowers, put them together and help hang them up for her to look at every day.
We hope this has given you some different ideas for mom this year, whether you can be there in person with her, or celebrating from afar.
Happy Mother’s Day,
